Three people have been caught in a horrible accident, impaled together on an enormous shaft. They work together to piece together what - or who - caused the disaster that has befallen them, and what options remain possible for escape. As their bodies and minds disintegrate, their fate becomes inevitable, and they begin to resort to other means of liberation.
