Elliot Baker (Dramaturg, The Ruse of Medusa; Actor, Phoebe in Winter)  is a writer, actor and teaching artist who works between the cities of Chicago and London. As literary manager of Facility he uses an in-depth knowledge of audience response and playwriting nous to uncover and interrogate new work from emerging artists in both the Chicagoland area and worldwide. His play, The Silence That Follows, was produced by Facility at A Red Orchid Theatre in the Summer of 2016. His work has also been staged by The Stoop Feast (Chicago) and The Space (London). As an actor, Elliot has worked at Writers Theatre, A Red Orchid Theatre, Piccolo Theatre, and Coriolis Theatre. He holds a BFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MFA from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
